Now the audience will have to wait a little longer for two much awaited South films, Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa-2’ and Junior NTR starrer ‘Devaara’, to be released this year. While the makers of Pushpa-2 had finalized its release date as 15th August 2024, the makers of Devara were preparing to release it on 5th April. However, now it has been heard that both these films will not be released on their scheduled time.
Superstar Allu Arjun was continuously busy shooting for ‘Pushpa-2’ for quite some time. However, now due to some health issues he has taken a break from its shooting. It is not known when Allu will start shooting again, but it is certain that his break will affect the post-production of the film.
On the other hand, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who plays the character of Bhaira in ‘Devra’, has recently undergone triceps surgery. Saif has been discharged from the hospital and is on break these days. It was heard that due to his break, the shooting of the film will be affected but if sources are to be believed, Saif has already completed his part of shooting for this film. The release of the film is being delayed due to its VFX work and music. Overall, due to delay in shooting of both these films, their release dates will also be affected.
If some reports are to be believed, ‘Devra’ may now clash with Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Singham Again’. It is heard that after the delay of ‘Pushpa-2’, now ‘Devra’ can be released on August 15. If this happens then ‘Devra’ will clash with Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Singham Again’.
Apart from Junior NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in Devara. Apart from Ajay, actors like Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Shweta Tiwari will be seen in ‘Singham Again’.
