Punjabi singer Preet Harpal has wished Bollywood actor-turned-MP Sunny Deol all the best for Gadar 2. Along with this, Sunny Deol has also been urged to go to his constituency for the residents of Gurdaspur. Preet Harpal belongs to Gurdaspur only.
Preet Harpal said in a Facebook post- “Sunny bhai, congratulations to you for Gadar-2. Be free from here and take a trip to Gurdaspur as well. Our people have given you a lot of respect. Take care of them too”.
On the other hand, the Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in 2024. Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol has already announced not to contest for re-election. Sunny Deol made this announcement in an interview.
On the other hand, after the 2019 elections, Sunny would have come to his constituency hardly once. After which there is a lot of anger among the people. Many times people have also put up missing posters with his name and picture in Gurdaspur.
Sunny had laughingly said in the interview, actually politics does not suit our family only. First father (Dharmendra) entered politics and left. Now I am. Sunny said that if BJP asks him to contest elections in 2024, he will refuse. Actually what I cannot do, I have tried it once. I can neither do politics nor do I want to. This is my wish.
