Punjabi Film Carry On Jatta 3 Earned 4.50 Crores On 1st Day

Punjabi Singer & Actor Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa starrer film Carry On Jatta 3 has set a new record by breaking all previous records of opening day collection of Punjabi films. The film has earned around Rs 8.15 crore at the box-office in just two days.

With this, the film has created the record for the highest grossing Punjabi film on the first day of its release. In India, the film has set a new benchmark by breaking all the previous earning records of Punjabi films.

The director of the film is Smeep Kang. Apart from Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa, the film also stars Binnu Dhillon, Kavita Kaushik, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Shinda Grewal. According to the Box of India report, the film did a net business of Rs 4.50 crore on the first day.

This is almost double the amount of the collection of any Punjabi film on the opening day. On the second day, the film earned around Rs 3.60 crore. According to analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has made a worldwide gross collection of 10 crores 12 lakhs.

The film was released on 29 June. Apart from Punjab, the film is also performing well in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. According to Box of India, the film has earned around Rs 70 lakh in both these states. It is estimated to earn up to Rs 30 lakh from the rest of the states of the country. The film is clashing with Kiara Advani and Karthik Aryan’s film Satyaprem Ki Katha at the box-office.

The film’s earnings are expected to increase further from the overseas collection. In Canada and Australia, the film did a business of around 10 lakhs on the opening day itself. The first film in the Carry On Jatta film franchise was released in 2012. The second part of the film was released in 2018 and the third part in 2023.
