My sister is a senior scientist in ISRO. I hope to make a film on Chandrayaan-3 with the team of Mission Mangal. Jagan Shakti took help from many ISRO scientists in the making of Mission Mangal. The research team associated with the film along with the scientists had worked out a lot of details.
According to the writing team, the things that were told to the audience in Hollywood films made on space such as Interstellar and Gravity. In the same way, an attempt was made to convey the same information in Mission Mangal.
The budget of space genre films in Hollywood is usually more than 500 crores. The budget of the film Gravity was more than 800 crores. The cost of making Interstellar was Rs 1300 crores. Just like the cost of making Mangalyaan was less, in the same way the cost of making the film was around Rs 32 crores.
