Bollywood Director Mahesh Bhatt recently reached the reality show Bigg Boss OTT2 to meet his elder daughter and contestant Pooja Bhatt. Mahesh looked very emotional after meeting his daughter after a long time. During this, he talked about his relationship with daughter Pooja.
Mahesh told that when Pooja was born, Mahesh was struggling with financial crisis. He did not have money at the time of the birth of the elder daughter, later he barely collected 1500 rupees. Mahesh further said that after growing up, Pooja became the strength of the family in bad times. She helped run the family by doing modeling work.
The moment of the show was very emotional when Mahesh narrated the story of Pooja Bhatt’s birth. Actually, when Pooja was born, he was 20 years old. At the age of 23, Mahesh became the father of Pooja Bhatt. Talking about the birth of the daughter, Mahesh said- ‘I was going through a financial crisis at the time of Pooja’s birth. During her birth, I had arranged Rs.1500 with great difficulty. I remember when I saw Pooja for the first time, she was looking angry. I felt that he was born for a big change in life. She had become like a gift from God to me.
Mahesh Bhatt praised Pooja and told that when there was a financial crisis in the family, Pooja helped the family at that time. She became the strength of the family in bad times. During that time, Pooja took the initiative to pursue a career in modeling and auditioned for several ads. Pooja was successful in this, due to which the house could run.
After pursuing a career in modeling, Pooja made her acting debut in 1989 with the film Daddy. The film was directed by Mahesh Bhatt himself. In the film, Pooja played the character of a minor girl whose father is an alcoholic. Pooja’s father was played by Anupam Kher in the film.
Mahesh praised Manisha Rani, Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav after coming to Bigg Boss house. Mahesh Bhatt got emotional seeing Elvish. He said- ‘Dil Roya Jab Tu Roya’. After this Mahesh shared some stories of his life with everyone and also taught them about work.
