Bollywood Actress Kriti Sanon has recently received the National Award for Best Actress for the film Mimi. This is Kriti’s first National Award and she is very happy with it. On this special occasion, the actress has shared some of her pictures on social media, in which she is seen celebrating her big win with her family.
Kriti is seen in the photos with her parents, sister Nupur Sanon, Dinesh Vijan and Mimi co-star Varun Sharma. While sharing the photos, Kriti wrote in the caption, ‘Surrounded by love and loved ones. I have a lot of gratitude in my heart.
Earlier, Kriti had posted a long post on social media. She wrote- The director of the film, Laxman sir had said that see, you will definitely get the National Award for Mimi…now got it sir. It probably wouldn’t have been possible without you.
Kriti also mentioned Alia Bhatt in her note. She wrote- Congratulations to you too Alia. I have always admired your work. I am very excited to share this award with you. Let me tell you, Alia Bhatt has also received the Best Actress Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi.
On the work front, Kriti will be next seen in Ek Prem Kahani opposite Shahid Kapoor. The actress will also be seen in the action film Ganpath opposite Tiger Shroff. This film is going to release at the end of this year. Apart from this, Kriti is also working with actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu in the film ‘The Crew’ which will come next year.
Kriti Sanon has launched her production house Blue Butterfly Films a few days back. The actress has also announced the first film to be made under her banner. The name of this Kajol starrer film will be ‘Do Patti’ which will be released on Netflix. The film will be co-produced by Kriti along with writer Kanika Dhillon. Through this film, Kajol and Kriti will work together after 8 years. Earlier both have worked together in Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Dilwale’ released in 2015.
