Karan Johar Rejected The Story Of OMG 2

OMG-2 director Amit Rai has said some shocking things. Amit Rai said that he had shown the script of OMG-2 to big production houses like Karan Johar, Ashutosh Gowariker and Sony. Although all of them rejected the story of the film. It was Akshay Kumar who liked the script.

According to Amit, his script would have been lying in some corner or people would have been eating gram on it. Kudos to Akshay Kumar who worked on it and today we are able to see the film. Amit Rai told the Times of India – Somehow I reached Akshay Kumar. To reach him, the help of many people had to be taken. When Akshay saw the script, he felt that this film should be made at any cost.

If I had failed to reach him, someone would have been eating gram on the script of OMG-2. Children would play by making it an aeroplane. Akshay showed the courage to make a film after being rejected by so many big producers.

Amit Rai further said – When the actors were cast in the film. Even 50 crore rupees were spent in the film, then the censor board would come and say that you cannot show the film. I tried to convince him a lot to give UA certificate to the film.

Even today I am saying the same thing. Can’t understand why the censor board doesn’t give UA certificate to the film. Although there is still time, I request that the film’s certification should be changed to UA certificate.

Amit also talked about Akshay Kumar’s look in the film. He said- Akshay Kumar asked a lot of questions throughout the film. He was showing a lot of interest. He even gave the concept of the film’s song Har Har Mahadev.

He was very excited to play the role of Lord Shankar. Although he had a tattoo on his hand, which did not look right according to the role of Shiva. That’s why we removed it. OMG-2 actor Govind Namdev said that the mind board should have put in the censorship of Adipurush, they put in the trimming of OMG-2. Govind said that the Censor Board unnecessarily gave the film an A certificate, due to which the target audience could not watch the film.

Govind says that the censor board should still consider its decision. Govind has used the word behuda for Adipurush. He said that the censor board did not make any changes in such a ridiculous film while so many cuts were made in a film giving a message.
