Bollywood Actor Sunny Deol’s film Gadar-2 is earning tremendously at the box office. The film has collected Rs 39 crore on Sunday. With this, the film’s total collection in 10 days has gone up to Rs 375 crore. ‘Gadar 2’ has now become the highest grossing Hindi film in the second weekend. It has broken the record of ‘Pathan’.
Surprisingly, the film earned Rs 40 crores on its opening day. On the other hand, on the tenth day, it has collected Rs 39 crore. It is clear from this that there is still a lot of craze among people regarding the film. Made in a budget of around 70 to 80 crores, this film will join the 400 crore club on Monday.
Apart from this, the film created a new record on Sunday. It has become the highest grossing Hindi film in the second week. Earlier in the list, Shahrukh Khan starrer Pathan was on top. The film earned 63.50 crores in the second week. Gadar 2 has collected 90.47 crores, earning about 27 crores more than Pathan.
Films like Bahubali 2, KGF 2, Dangal and Sanju were also included in this list.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘OMG 2’ also saw a growth of 20% on Sunday. The film earned Rs 12.70 crore on the tenth day. With this, its total collection has become 114.31 crores. The overall occupancy of the film on Sunday was 58.05%. OMG 2 is also doing tremendous business in the theatres.
