The excitement of the audience is at its peak regarding ‘Moana 2’, the much-awaited sequel of Disney’s ‘Moana’. The animated film is all set to release in theaters on November 27, 2024. Meanwhile, the filmmakers have given a big gift to the fans waiting for it. The makers released a poster of ‘Moana 2’ on Tuesday, giving fans the first glimpse of the exciting film.

Along with the poster, it was also announced that the first trailer of ‘Moana 2’ will come on May 29, 2024. The trailer is expected to take the audience to the seas of Oceania with the talented cast, including Aulis Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui. Johnson shared the poster and trailer release date on social media on May 28.

Johnson captioned the post, ‘The sea is calling her back. Experience the trailer for Disney’s ‘Moana 2′ tomorrow and watch the film in theaters on November 27, 2024.’ Although not much information is available about the sequel to the Disney film, it is set to continue the story of Maui and Moana, whose pairing gave great results in the original film.

The poster of the upcoming film shared online shows the Disney princess in the background, with a hook and a paddle forming the number 2. In ‘Moana 2’, the much-loved character will have to go on an adventure in the remote seas of Oceania. She will have to overcome new obstacles in her path and deal with new dangers as she searches for people beyond the coast of Motunui.

The second film in the franchise will be directed by newcomer David G. Derrick. At the same time, the illustrious production team will include Osnat Shurer, who was also part of the team behind the original ‘Moana’. However, the rest of its cast has not been confirmed.

Aulisse Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson will reprise their roles in the upcoming film. Lyricist and composer Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa will both return as additional songwriters along with Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear. However, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who made headlines with the release of the first film, will not be a part of the crew this time.
