South Indian Actress Anushka Shetty is known for her role of Devasena in the blockbuster film Baahubali. Anushka made a special identity in the Hindi belt audience through this character. However, despite this, Anushka has not worked in any pan India film after ‘Bahubali’. Now recently, Anushka has given the reason behind her decision. The actress said that she wanted to take a break from work for some time.
Anushka said in an interview to Indian Express- ‘Once I completed Bahubali, after that my focus was on Bhaagmaathi. After this I wanted to take rest for some time. I had taken this decision myself. At that time I was in great need of taking a break.
Anushka further said- ‘I took this decision so that I can focus well on my future projects. To be honest, I don’t have an exact answer, but I really wanted to rest for a while. I did not listen to any script during that time, but after the break, I have now returned to work.
Talking about Pan India and Bollywood films, Anushka said- ‘If a great project comes my way, I will definitely do it. No matter what language it is. Actually Anushka is making a comeback after 3 years with Telugu film ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’. After Baahubali: The Conclusion, while Prabhas has appeared in Bollywood and Pan India films, Anushka has worked in Telugu film ‘Bhaagamathi’ and OTT film ‘Nishabdham’.
When Anushka was asked about working with Prabhas again, she said that if the makers offer her a script made with a strong story and creative vision, then she would definitely like to work together. During the conversation, Anushka was questioned about her marriage, on which she said – when the time is right, she will get married.
