Bollywood Actor Ajay Devgan is in the news these days for ‘Raid 2’, the sequel of his 2018 film ‘Raid’. This film directed by Rajkumar Gupta is attracting a lot of attention of fans with its every update. The actor has started shooting for ‘Raid 2’. ‘Raid 2’, like its parent film, aims to shed light on the untold stories of the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department. Based on a true case from the records of the department, the film is expected to create a stir on the big screen. Starting in Mumbai on January 6, 2024, the shooting of ‘Raid 2’ will take place at various locations including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishna Kumar, the sequel promises to deliver double the drama and suspense as the first instalment.
‘Raid’, which released in 2018, won praise for its story, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what’s going to be different in the sequel. The first film depicted the real-life Income Tax raid conducted by authorities on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s. Notably, it was the longest raid in Indian history, lasting three days and two nights. Talking about ‘Raid 2’, it will hit the theaters on November 1.
Talking about Ajay Devgan, he was recently seen in ‘Shaitan’. The film was released in theaters on 8 March. Ajay also has director Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s ‘Maidan’. It also stars Priyamani and Gajraj Rao. Ajay Devgan will once again rock the screen with ‘Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ on 26th April. The film is being considered a romantic thriller with a heavy dose of action. Ajay will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’.
