Fatima Sana Shaikh is a popular Bollywood actress. Fatima worked as a child artist in the 1997 film ‘Chachi 420’. Fatima came into limelight with the film ‘Dangal’ in 2016. The film ‘Dangal’ made huge money at the box office. In an interview given to Dainik Bhaskar, Fatima told that she considers Aamir very real and honest. Fatima also said that during the audition of the film ‘Dangal’, she was selected out of 21000 girls.
Talking about her childhood, Fatima Sana Shaikh said, ‘I was four or four and a half years old when I did the film ‘Chachi 420’. I had done a lot of work in my childhood itself. It is important to have a little fun once in a while. Then when I started acting again, the struggle started again.
Fatima considers ‘Dangal’ as the biggest turning point in her career. She said, ‘I was selected out of 21,000 girls, and there were a lot of audition rounds. It also took time to get the audition shortlisted. I believe that I was selected for that role because of my ability.
Fatima also had to work a lot on her body for the film ‘Dangal’. Talking about physical transformation, he said, ‘It took eight months to prepare the body for the film. She used to exercise six days a week and wrestle six days a week. She even did a little running on Sundays. The motive was very clear. I knew that I had to become a wrestler for the film. Becoming a wrestler meant gaining weight and also learning wrestling.
Regarding Aamir Khan, Fatima said that he is a very real, serious, timely actor. Aamir always comes by remembering his lines. People definitely think that working with stars is very difficult, but it is not so. Stars are very giving by nature.
Fatima has also worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. While sharing his experience he said, ‘Amitabh Bachchan is a very big actor. We all have seen him performing on screen since childhood. I consider myself very lucky that I got the opportunity to work with such great actors.
When Fatima was asked about the most difficult role of her career, she said that no role is easy. There are challenges in all roles. It certainly seems that ‘Dangal’ would have been the most difficult, but it is not so.
