Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead on 29 May 2022 in Mansa district of Punjab. According to the Punjab government, so far 29 people have been arrested in this case, two accused were killed in the encounter and 5 are yet to be brought from outside India. For this, the state government is in touch with the Center and other agencies. The prime accused in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case is Goldie Brar of gangster Lawrence Gang.
