Bollywood Director Vivek Agnihotri has sent a legal notice to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Vivek says that Mamta has done a wrong thing by calling her film The Kashmir Files a propaganda film. He said that Mamta should prove what propaganda has been shown in her film.
Vivek said that he is also making a film on the Bengal Genocide, which Mamta might not have liked. Vivek said that his life has become difficult for the last one year. Even his daughter’s pictures were also made viral, which is a shameful act.
Actually the matter started with the release of The Kerala Story. Banning the film in Bengal, Mamta Banerjee said that after Kashmir and Kerala, now Bengal has been targeted. He said that BJP funds such people. Mamta said that she has come to know that preparations are also being made to make Bengal files.
In response to this, Vivek Agnihotri has sent a legal notice to Mamta on behalf of the entire team of The Kashmir Files. Vivek said that he wants an answer in this matter that with what thought Mamta has called her film a propaganda film.
Vivek further said, ‘Mamata is adopting such tactics to gain cheap popularity among some fake secular people in the country. She wants me not to make my film on the Bengal massacre. I have sent him a notice and asked him what is it in the film that he finds false. The statement given by Mamta ji is completely wrong, such a statement cannot be expected from a person sitting on such a high position in the society.
Vivek further said, ‘For the last one year my life has been made difficult. Anyone from the Chief Minister to Ministers and big journalists comes and goes away calling The Kashmir Files propaganda. enough is enough. Now I will ask such people to come and tell which scene, which fact in the film is such that it is propaganda.
