The Kerala Story’s Collection Reaches 70 Crores

The collections of The Kerala Story are seeing a growth every day. The film earned Rs 12 crore on the sixth day. In this way the total collection of the film has gone up to Rs 68.86 crore. According to the way the film is earning, soon it can join the 100 crore club.

On the other hand, veteran actor and TMC leader Shatrughan Sinha has justified the decision to ban the film. He said that he is in support of freedom of speech, but if any film spoils the atmosphere of the society, then it is very important to curb it.

While sharing the latest collection, trade analyst Taran Adarsh has written that the film’s earnings are unstoppable. The growth of the film is seeing an increase every day. The film has also acquired the title of Blockbuster.

Made in a budget of around 30 crores, the film had already recovered its cost. Now the film has gone beyond profits. It seems that there is no visible effect of the ban on the film. After UP and MP, now Uttarakhand and Haryana governments have also made the film tax free. Due to this, more jump in earnings is being seen.

Shatrughan Sinha said – If I could not watch the daughter’s series, then from where would I watch the Kerala story?
Various statements are being heard from Bollywood and the political world regarding the film. Shatrughan Sinha has given a fresh statement regarding the film.

He said in an interview to the Times of India, ‘I was so busy that I could not even watch my daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s web series ‘Dahad’. Then leave aside the Kerala story. I support the ideology of freedom of speech but not at the cost of law and order of the state.

On 10 May 2023, The Kerala Story team met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. The film has already been made tax free there.

Producer of the film, Vipul Amrutlal Shah while talking to ANI said – Yogi ji has boosted our morale by making the film tax free. They have strengthened our thinking. We are very grateful to him. Vipul also invited Yogi and his ministers to watch the film. Yogi along with his cabinet can watch the film in a special screening at Lok Bhawan on May 12.

The special thing is that The Kerala Story has been released in 1300 screens across the country. Despite this, the film’s figures are better than many big films. Even Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan collected only Rs 4.5 crore on the sixth day of its release.

The Kerala Story beats the Salman Khan film by a wide margin. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Ki, which released on around 5,000 screens, slowed down in two to three.
