The hearing between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his ex-wife Aaliya regarding the custody of the children is over. The court has given the custody of the children to Alia for the next 45 days. During this time the children will be sent to Dubai where they are studying. After 45 days, the court will hear the matter again.
Aaliya’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui has given this information while talking to Dainik Bhaskar. Rizwan Siddiqui says that Nawaz is not prohibited from meeting his children. Whenever he wants, he can come to his Dubai home and meet the children.
In the last hearing held on March 30, the court had said that considering the future of the children, it wanted to settle the matter in-camera. The court had said, “We are concerned for the children, so we are exploring the possibility of settling the matter peacefully and amicably.” During the hearing, the bench directed Nawazuddin, Alia and both their minor children to appear before the court.
Nawazuddin had sent a settlement letter to Aaliya, but despite this the matter could not be resolved. If reports are to be believed, Nawazuddin had put a condition that if he was allowed to meet his children, he would withdraw the petition filed against Aaliya in the Bombay High Court. Responding to this, Aaliya’s lawyer said that Nawaz himself does not want to meet his children, who has stopped him.
