Who can forget Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane’s Sacred Games? A budget of 40 crores came to make the first season of this series to be streamed on Netflix. The budget for the second season of the Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan starrer show was almost doubled. The makers had spent around Rs 100 crores to make the second season.

Who can forget the character of Guddu Pandit, Munna Bhaiya and Kaleen Tripathi. This series, which was streamed on Amazon Prime, gained a lot of popularity. About 60 crores were spent in making its second season. Now the shooting of its third season is going on.

Directors Raj and DK are always known for showcasing something new. He made his OTT debut with The Family Man. This series was well liked. 100 crores were spent in making both the seasons of The Family Man. While the first season was made for around 50 crores, almost the same amount was spent for the second season.

The entertainment sector is growing rapidly in the country. There is a possibility of 45% growth in the OTT industry by this year. Corona doubled this possibility. There were 40 OTT platforms in India about one to one and a half years ago, but now their number has doubled to more than 80.

The government is also serious about the complaint of increasing obscene content on OTT.
