Shahrukhan Dunki’s Getting A Lot Of Love Abroad

Read Time:1 Minute, 21 Second

‘Dunki’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has hit the silver screen. Highlighting the themes of love, friendship and the emotional journey of an NRI yearning for his motherland, the film is being loved at home as well as abroad. This film is especially being liked by the audience living in Australia and New Zealand. The film is getting immense support from the audience in both the countries.

Dunki also made a significant impact at the box office in these two countries. In terms of earnings, it has become the third biggest opener in both the countries. Despite being released on a working day, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ made huge money at the box office on the first day.

This is the first non-action film after the Corona transition period, which has made its debut at the domestic box office with Rs 29.2 crores. This is King Khan’s third release of this year. The film competes with Prabhas’s Salaar.

Despite performing well at the box office, ‘Dunki’ lagged far behind Shah Rukh’s other two films Pathan and Jawan. ‘Pathan’ had made a spectacular collection of Rs 57 crore on the first day, while ‘Jawaan’ surprised the biggies by collecting Rs 74.50 crore across all languages in India.

However, considering the budget, the first day collection of Dunki would be considered good. Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover are also seen in the film. Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon have written the script of the film. It is believed that due to positive word of mouth, there may be a jump in the film’s collection from Saturday.
