Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has been admitted to the hospital. The actor was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday afternoon. According to media reports, he had reached Ahmedabad yesterday i.e. on Tuesday to watch the IPL match, due to which he became a victim of dehydration. After his health deteriorated, he was admitted to KD Hospital. However, he was discharged after treatment.
On May 21, King Khan had reached Narendra Modi Stadium to watch the match of his team Kolkata Knight Riders. In this match, King Khan’s team has made its place in the final by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad. After the match he reached a hotel in Ahmedabad.
According to media reports, the next day i.e. on the afternoon of 22nd May, Shahrukh’s health suddenly deteriorated, after which he was hurriedly taken to KD Hospital for treatment. If the claims of the reports are to be believed, the doctors discharged him after first aid. However, the actor has been advised to take rest for some time. After being admitted to the hospital, his friend Juhi Chawla had come to the hospital to meet King Khan. A video related to this has also surfaced on social media.
Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat said, “Actor Shahrukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering from heatstroke.” The actor had come to watch this IPL match with his daughter Suhana, son Abram Khan and actress Ananya Pandey. After winning the match, he was also seen meeting the players on the field. The happiness of his team reaching the final was clearly visible on his face.
Talking about work front, Shahrukh was seen in three films last year. The first film Pathan was a blockbuster at the box office. At the same time, his second film Jawan had record breaking earnings at the ticket window. Apart from this, his film Dinky also did good business. All these three films received a lot of love from the audience. Talking about his upcoming project, he will reportedly soon be seen in a film named King. Suhana Khan is also with him in the film. It is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh. However, no official announcement has been made yet regarding the film.
