Bollywood Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s next film is ‘I Love You’. Rakul has a two and a half minute underwater scene in the film. In an interview, Rakul told that he had to stay under water for about 14 hours to shoot this two-and-a-half-minute scene.
Rakul said in a recent interview, ‘I had to shoot an underwater sequence for this film. For this I was trained by a scuba instructor named Azhaan. He taught me to hold underwater for two and a half minutes for two months. While shooting for this sequence, I was in the water from 2 in the afternoon till 4 in the morning.
The actress further said, ‘This was the biggest challenge for me. I stood in the cold water the whole day. The water was very cold even though the crew members were constantly pouring hot water on me to keep me from getting cold
After some time my eyes started burning because of the chlorine present in the water. However, it was a good opportunity for me to push my limits and I did. I Love You, directed by Nikhil Mahajan, will release on Jio Cinema on June 16. Apart from Rakul, Pavail Gulati and Akshay Oberoi will be seen in this.
