Prateek Gandhi Became Emotional On The Death Of Satish Kaushik

Read Time:1 Minute, 33 Second

Veteran Actor and director Satish Kaushik died of a heart attack late on Wednesday night. Actor Prateek Gandhi, who worked with him in the web series Scam 1992, recently remembered the late actor during a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. During this, he said- ‘I had very few scenes with Satish Kaushik ji in the web series Scam 1992. But the way he played the role of Manu Mundra was amazing. People mostly knew him for playing roles of lighter notes, but Manu Mundra had a gray shade. The way he handled that too, he was an example for all of us.

I myself had seen his calendar role in Mr. India in my childhood and was a fan of him since then. We had less scenes in Scam, so we met less then. We met more after doing that series.
He wanted to do a film with me. We had meetings about that two months ago as well. It was probably going to be a social cause film. She was probably inspired by his life as well.

Can’t believe, that vivacious person is no longer among us. I had seen his smiling picture on social media two days back also. There were also her pictures of Holi from Shabana ji’s house. We have always seen him on screen in the same style. So it was surprising to see him in the role of Manu Mundra.

When Hansal Mehta sir told me before the shoot that Satish ji would be in the role of Manu Mundra. I was surprised to think of that, but what a wonderful performance Satish ji gave in it. When I met Satish ji two months ago, he himself had said that Prateek tere paas toh date ka masala hoga. So we plan that project for the future. But see, the universe had approved something else.
