During the trailer launch event of the film, producer Mukesh Bhatt revealed that the film will feature the last song sung by late singer KK.
While talking at the trailer launch event, the producer said that people will be able to hear the last song of late singer KK in the film. During this, Mukesh also revealed that the singer had died a week after recording this song. Mukesh told the media, “A very dear friend KK has sung a song from this film. He was a brilliant singer. I have treasured my friendship with him. We worked together for many songs. He gave many chartbuster songs to the industry. You guys will get to hear his last song in Savi. He died a week after recording the song.”
Singer KK died on 1 June 2022 in Kolkata due to cardiac arrest. As soon as this news came out, there was mourning in the film and music world. KK had sung many superhit songs in his career. He lent his voice for many songs of films made under the banner of Mukesh Bhatt’s production company.
Talking about Savi, Divya is in the lead role in the film. She will be seen in the role of a housewife on screen. Whereas, the character of her husband is played by Harshvardhan. In the film, her husband is put in jail for a crime he did not commit.
