The teaser of Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film Chamkila has been released. The story of the film is based on the life of Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali is the director of the film. Soon this film will be seen on Netflix.
The teaser starts with an announcement on the stage amidst the crowd – the smile of young hearts and the pride of the elderly. After this, Diljit playing the role of Amar Singh Chamkila comes on the stage with Ektara.
For the first time in the teaser of the film, Diljit is seen without a turban. He has put on a wig. Parineeti Chopra plays Chamkila’s wife and singer Bibi Amarjit Kaur in the film. The music of the film is given by AR Rahman.

In the 1980s, Amar Singh made his mark on the basis of his music. Amar Singh is also called the first rockstar of Punjab. On March 8, 1988, Amar Singh, who was going to perform in Mehsampur, Punjab, was murdered. While getting down from the car, bike-borne people shot at Chamkila and his wife and killed them.
