Prateek Gandhi, who won people’s hearts with Hansal Mehta’s web series ‘Scam 1992’, is now going to be seen in a web series being made on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. Director Hansal Mehta had recently announced the making of this series. At the same time, today the producer has shared some pictures on social media and informed about the commencement of shooting of this series.
Hansal Mehta has shared some pictures from the shooting on his official X account. In one picture the producer is seen with the camera. Apart from this, some glimpses of the shooting have been shown. ‘MK Gandhi’ is written in one picture. While sharing these pictures, he announced that the name of his next project is ‘Gandhi’. The shooting of this series has started from today in Gujarat.
While sharing the post on X, Hansal wrote, ‘History is being made, shooting of the series ‘Gandhi’ has started from today.’ Based on the writings of historian and author, Ramachandra Guha, the series will be based on his two books ‘Gandhi Before India’ and ‘Gandhi – The Years that Changed the World, 1914-1948’. Social media users are sharing their reactions on the manufacturer’s post. One user wrote, ‘I am very excited for this sir. Best wishes.’ While another said, ‘Salute to your courage in making a film on Gandhi.’ Another wrote, ‘Excited to watch this series.’ One user said, ‘This is very much needed in today’s times.’
Talking about ‘Gandhi’ series, this much awaited biopic is going to depict the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi. Apart from India, this series will also be shot abroad. Prateek Gandhi will be seen in the lead role in this series, which is going to be directed by Hansal Mehta.
