Fans are eagerly waiting for Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s film Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand. The trailer of the film had created special excitement among the audience. Now as the release date of the film is coming closer, the fans including the stars are getting excited. Now some new information related to the film has come to light, which is related to the period of the film Fighter. At the same time, now this film has also been passed by the Censor Board.
The Central Board of Film Certification has given the green signal to Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter. Fighter has achieved UA certification from CBFC with a runtime of two hours and 46 minutes. According to the certificate, the story of the film revolves around the increasing terrorist activities along the Line of Control. In response the Air Force Headquarters established a special unit called the Air Dragons at the Air Force Base in Srinagar. Consisting of Sukhoi 30 fighter jets and ALH helicopters, the Air Dragons are an elite unit comprising the best combat aviators of the Indian Air Force.
Giving this information, Himesh Mankad revealed on X, ‘Fighter was UA certified with an approved runtime of 166 minutes. Siddharth Anand’s Fighter was certified U/A with a sanctioned runtime of two hours 46 minutes. The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer is scheduled to release on January 25, 2024.
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will share screen space for the first time in ‘Fighter’. Hrithik Roshan will be seen in the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty in Fighter. Whereas, Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Squadron Leader Meenal Rathod alias Minnie. Apart from these two superstars, Anil Kapoor also plays an important role in the film, who will be seen in the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh alias Rocky. ‘Fighter’ is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. It marks the debut of Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamta Anand as film producers. Siddharth Anand has previously directed successful action films like ‘War’ and ‘Pathan’.
‘Fighter’ has a stellar star cast including Hrithik, Anil, Deepika apart from Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Talat Aziz and others in supporting roles. Vishal-Shekhar duo are composing songs and original score for the film. The aerial action film is set to release in theaters on January 25, 2024.
