Friendships of Bollywood actors are often in the news. We keep hearing stories of friendship with many stars on different occasions. In this connection, now actor Chunky Pandey has also talked about his friendship with Akshay Kumar. Many interesting things were heard in this conversation. It is known that both have worked together in many comedy films. Apart from the films of ‘Housefull’ franchise, these also include ‘De Dana Dan’.
In a recent interview, Chunky Pandey told that he and Akshay Kumar have been friends since 1986. Both met at Madhumati Academy of Film Dancing. Chunky Pandey told that when he used to study in Madhumati, senior students used to give training to their juniors. Chunky was Akshay’s senior there. That’s why he also taught many things to his junior Akshay Kumar.
An interesting thing is that in one of his old interviews, Akshay Kumar had talked about the things he had learned from Chunky Pandey. He had jokingly said that whatever I learned in the beginning of my career, I learned from Chunky Pandey. Akshay further said that what Chunky taught him was so wrong that his films did not work and hence he decided to forget all the things Chunky had taught him. Then he learned something new, after which he became Akshay Kumar.
In his interview, Chunky Pandey praised the work of Akshay Kumar and said that when he saw Akshay Kumar for the first time, he knew that Akshay was a star even as a child. Chunky further said that now his daughter Ananya Pandey is also working in a film with Akshay Kumar. It is a pleasure to have Akshay on the set. It is known that Akshay and Ananya will be seen in the film based on the life of C Shankaran Nair.
