Aditya Chopra Did Not Want Fight Scenes In DDLJ

Bollywood Actor Shahrukh Khan and Kajol starrer film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ was a superhit film of the 90s. People still like to watch this film. Actor Parmeet Sethi, who played the character of Kuljeet in DDLJ, told some special things about the film. He says that a fight scene has been shown in the last part of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. The film’s director Aditya Chopra did not want that fight scene in the film. When Shahrukh started insisting on Aditya, he had kept this scene in the film. His wish was that there should be a fight scene in the film.

Apart from this, Parmeet said that Armaan Kohli was selected before him for the role of Kuljeet. He had asked for this role by requesting Aditya. In a recent interview, Parmeet said that he was heartbroken when he heard that Armaan Kohli has been selected for the role of Kuljeet. The actor told that he could not sleep for 15 days and was restless until he auditioned Aditya and he was selected for the role.

Recalling the days of shooting of DDLJ, Parmeet said that he never thought that the film would get success on such a huge scale. He said that after listening to the story and songs of the film, I knew that the film would work. But I didn’t think it would be a superhit like this.

Parmeet told that he had heard somewhere that Aditya was looking for someone like Parmeet for a character. Therefore, when Parmeet went and met him, he started hoping in his mind to get this role. A few days later, when he came to know that the role had been given to Armaan Kohli, he was very sad.
