‘Adipurush’ Leaked On YouTube Before OTT Release

The film ‘Adipurush’ flopped at the box office. After negative word of mouth publicity and a court case, the film has now become a victim of online piracy. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer film was recently leaked on YouTube. Surprisingly, it was seen by millions of people.

According to a report in News18, after being leaked on some piracy websites, the film was also leaked on YouTube. The film was available in HD quality on this platform and as such it got 2.3 million views. However, the link was deleted after a few hours and the film was removed from the website.

Om Raut directed film ‘Adipurush’ was criticized badly due to its controversial dialogues. After facing many controversies, recently the writer of the film Manoj Muntashir apologized for hurting the emotions of the people.

Manoj wrote on social media, ‘I accept that the sentiments of the public have been hurt through Adipurush. For this, I apologize unconditionally. The film was released on 16 June. It was only after controversy and people’s protest that the film started getting off the theaters within two weeks. Made in a budget of 600 crores, the film earned Rs 286.37 crores in India. Of this, Rs 147.26 crore is from the Hindi version.
