A Massive Fire Broke Out On The Sets Of ‘Ghum Hai Kisi Ki Pyar’

A massive fire broke out on the sets of Star Plus TV serial Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein at around 4 pm on Friday. Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh starrer set of this TV serial is in Mumbai’s Goregaon Filmcity. During the incident, more than a thousand people were present on the set, where a scene of children was being shot. At present, there is no news of any casualty in the incident.

According to the information, the fire on the set spread to many other sets nearby. Which also includes sets of serials like ‘Teri Meri Dooriyan’ and ‘Ajuni’. Due to the strong wind, the fire is not completely extinguished yet. 25-30 vans still exist in Film City. There was no fire safety on the set. 4 sets have been burnt, causing a loss of around 8-9 crores. To extinguish the fire, some vans have been called from Byculla, 25 km from Film City. There was chaos all around as soon as the fire broke out on the set. In this fire, goods worth lakhs of serial sets were burnt to ashes. The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.

Videos on social media showed people running here and there trying to douse the fire. Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, President of the All India Cine Workers Association, demanded an inquiry into the incident from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Eknath Shinde. Also demanded to register a case against the producer, production house and channel. He said, immediate resignation of the Managing Director of Film City should be taken, whose negligence is leading to large-scale shooting in Film City without fire safety and there were no security arrangements.
