Famous Punjabi singer-rapper Honey Singh has received death threats. According to Singer, he has been threatened with death by gangster Goldie Brar through a voice note. Honey has demanded protection by filing a complaint in the Special Cell of Delhi Police. Goldie is the prime accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and is currently in Canada.
In an interview given to ANI, Honey said- I was in America and my manager has received threat calls. I have also received death threats. I have complained about this to the Delhi Police Commissioner.
I have given all the evidence to the police. He has assured me that he will find out about it soon. Talking to NDTV, Singer said- I am scared. My whole family is scared. I have always received a lot of love from people. This is the first time that someone has threatened me like this.
My staff and I have received calls and voice notes from international numbers in which the caller identified herself as Goldie Brar. I have given all these evidences to the Commissioner and demanded security from him.
Honey Singh has received death threats exactly one year after the murder of singer Sidhu Musewala. Sidhu was shot last year in his own car. After this, Goldie Brar had confessed on a Facebook post about conspiring to kill Sidhu Musewala.
