In a conversation, Vikrant was asked whether the suicides of artists of his generation in the last few years had troubled him? On this the actor said that he was especially worried about Sushant Singh Rajput. After Sushant’s death, he was hurt to see the media trial and people’s reaction.
Vikrant said, ‘After Sushant’s death, some people really expressed grief and condolences, but it is extremely regrettable that on the other hand, his death also became the subject of a massive media trial. After his departure, new stories started being created on different platforms and people started making all kinds of speculations. People started talking publicly about his personal life, relationships, professional struggles without any official statement or information.
Vikrant said, ‘It went on for about 45 days, but for the first 15 days people made a lot of jokes on it. I think that’s who we really are. This is also a part of our reality and it is heartbreaking. Vikrant further told that he and Sushant had started working together on the small screen. When Sushant was doing the show ‘Pavitra Rishta’, Vikrant was working in ‘Balika Vadhu’.
