Vidya Balan Will Make Her Big Screen Comeback After 4 Years

The teaser of actress Vidya Balan’s next film ‘Niyat’ has been released. The makers also launched the character posters along with the teaser on Wednesday. It is a murder mystery in which Vidya is playing the role of Detective Meera Rao. Its trailer will be released on Thursday.
The makers have not given any specific information in the teaser of the film but have definitely created suspense about the film and its characters. The teaser has a dialogue in the background which says, ‘Suspects are coming, motives are being made, get ready. For a mystery….
The story of the film is woven around the character of Detective turned Vidya who will be seen solving a murder mystery. Apart from Vidya, it will also feature big actors like Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Nikki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi.
The film is directed by Anu Menon who has earlier made ‘Shakuntala Devi’ with Vidya. The film will be released in theaters on July 7 and through this Vidya will be seen on the big screen after 4 years. His last theatrical release was ‘Mission Mangal’.
After ‘Mission Mangal’, Vidya’s three projects ‘Shakuntala Devi’, ‘Sherni’ and ‘Jalsa’ have been released on OTT only. This is the second time Vidya will be seen in the role of a detective. Earlier, she played the role of Detective in the film ‘Bobby Jasoos’ released in 2014.
