Sarath Babu, one of the finest actors of Telugu and Tamil cinema, passed away at the age of 71. He was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad last month. He was on ventilator. He acted in more than 220 films in his career.
He was born on July 31, 1951 in Andhra Pradesh. His real name was Satyam Babu Dixit. Today i.e. on Monday, the family members of Sarath Babu confirmed his demise. According to the information, his organs had stopped working (multiple organ failure). He was first admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru when his health deteriorated. After this he was admitted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad.
Here he was undergoing treatment for more than a month. Earlier on May 3, the rumor of his demise was heard. However, then his family had told this news wrong. Sarath Babu made his debut in 1973 with the Telugu film Raja Rajayam. He worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films throughout his career. He was also awarded the prestigious ‘Nandi Award’. She was recently seen in Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Vakeel Saab’. He worked in many films with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
