This is Samantha’s first film after the release of Yashoda, in which she is working during her treatment for myositis.

I will go on my own journey home through this. Please tell that Shakuntalam is a romantic drama film written and directed by Gunasekhar. The film is based on the play Shakuntala by renowned poet and playwright Kalidas. Apart from Samantha, South actors Dev Mohan, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla will be seen in supporting roles.
