Read Time:1 Minute, 35 Second

The Kerala Story has so far collected Rs 187.47 crore. The film earned Rs 9.15 crore on Saturday. It has been more than two weeks since the release of the film, but its earnings are not taking the name of stopping. The film is now all set to enter the 200 crore club.

The Kerala Story has also become the second biggest film of 2023 after Pathan. The special thing is that the budget of the film is very less, according to this the film has already earned a lot of profit.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has registered a quantum jump on its third Saturday as well. Today i.e. on Sunday the film can collect more than 10 crores. The third week has started, now it has all eyes on earning 200 crores.

There are only four Hindi films this year, which have collected more than 100 crores. Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan created history by collecting more than 500 crores. Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar has made a lifetime collection of Rs 147.28 crore.

Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is at number four with Rs 109.29 crore. Although the budget of all these films is more than 100 crores. Whereas The Kerala Story is made in a budget of only 30 to 35 crores.

It has left behind films like Akshay Kumar’s Selfie, Ajay Devgan’s Bhola, Karthik Aryan’s Shehzada long back in terms of earnings. Beating big starcast and big budget films with such ease shows The Kerala Story’s achievement.

The court asked the Bengal government to ensure the safety of those watching the film. However, the court asked the makers of the film to put a disclaimer on the allegations of 32,000 women converting to Islam. Since this thing is not confirmed, it is necessary to put a disclaimer on it.
