The film The Kerala Story has been banned in West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that if the film is screened, the peace and order of the state can be disrupted. She has said in the order given to the Chief Secretary that strict action should be taken if anyone is found violating the order.
It has also been said in the order issued by the government that if a film is running in any theatre, it should be removed immediately. Mamta has said in a press conference that she is apprehensive that after The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story, preparations are being made to make Bengal Files as well. BJP is funding it.
Mamta Banerjee said in the press conference on Monday – After Kerala, now Bengal will be targeted. I came to know that the files of Bengal are also being prepared. I will speak to the Chief Minister of Kerala and tell him that some CPM people are also in collusion with the BJP. The facts have been tampered with in this film. If this film continues to run in Bengal, then the communal atmosphere of the state may worsen. These people first insulted the people of Kashmir and now they are insulting the people of Kerala.
Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the producer of The Kerala Story, has expressed his displeasure over the banning of the film. He said that if the state governments do not listen to us, we will take legal action. Vipul also expressed his anger at the theater owners in Tamil Nadu who have stopped the screening of the film. He said- A person in Tamil Nadu stopped the release of this film by threatening. I would request the DMK and Congress government there to take action on this as soon as possible and release this film.
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted PM Modi on the pretext of the film. He said- Apart from being an actor, our Prime Minister has also become a film promoter. The Prime Minister of 130 crore people is promoting a false film. I want to ask the filmmakers whether this is fiction or fact. How long will you feed your stomach by defaming Muslims and telling lies.
In fact, PM Narendra Modi recently mentioned The Kerala Story in a rally in Karnataka. He had said- In the last few years, a terrible form of terrorism has arisen. It has spread rapidly in a state like Kerala. Congress is now working to promote terrorist elements by banning the film. These people just know how to ban things.
Praising the film, PM Modi had said – What is the new form of terrorism, an attempt has been made to show it in the right way in the film. Apart from weapons and guns, they are working to hollow out the society in a new way. This film has exposed this new face of terrorism. While in power, the Congress has succumbed to terrorist organizations. Congress never saved this country from terrorism. We have suffered this pain for years.
