The teaser of Sharib Hashmi, Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah starrer film ‘The Ghost of Gandhi’ has been released. Seeing this teaser, it can be guessed that the makers are exploring a new concept through the film.
This teaser of 3 minutes 14 seconds is very funny. It starts with Daisy Shah who looks upset. When Sharib asks her the reason for her trouble, she tells that people all over the country are seeing the ghost of Gandhiji. On this, Sharib calls it a rumour.
Whereas Daisy says but what if it is true? After this, both of them are seen groping for belongings related to Gandhiji in someone’s old bungalow. In the meanwhile, Gandhiji comes and stands in front of him who says, ‘At this time our country again needs me. I am coming’
Actor Surendra Rajan is seen in the role of Gandhi in the film. He had earlier played the role of Maqsood Bhai in Munnabhai MBBS and a librarian in Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Apart from this, Surendra has also played the role of Mahatma Gandhi in Ajay Devgan’s ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’.
The film is written and directed by Manish Kishore. With this, RJ Mehwash is making Bollywood debut. Actors like Atul Srivastava and Deepak Kalra will also be seen in the film. Makers have not announced its release date yet.
