This fourth Bollywood film is the biggest opener in terms of worldwide earnings. RRR is at number one in terms of worldwide earnings, which did a business of Rs 223.5 crore on the first day. After that at number two is Prabhas’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which had earned Rs 214.5 crore worldwide. The third highest grossing film worldwide is KGF: Chapter 2, which had an opening of Rs 164.5 crore.
Shahrukh Khan has broken his own record with the bumper opening of ‘Jawan’ at Rs 75 crore. Even before this, the record of highest earning in Bollywood was also held by Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan. Pathan got an opening of Rs 57 crores. The Hindi version of Pathan had earned Rs 55 crore on the first day.
