Last year was great for the box office. Many films one after the other made huge profits. Shahrukh Khan’s three films ‘Pathan’, ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Dunki’ alone made huge collections at the box office. Among these three films, the most discussed film was ‘Jawaan’ directed by South director Atlee. The film broke all the earning records. Audiences all over the world loved it. For the first time, Shahrukh and Atlee duo came together and made an action thriller film which created a storm. The audience is now waiting for the second part of this film, about which director Atlee has talked in an interview.
When Atlee was asked about ‘Jawaan 2’ in the interview, he said, ‘I am not sure about it yet, but I am writing something and I enjoy surprising the fans. Obviously every film has a chance of a sequel, but I always want to surprise the audience with my different content, let’s see what surprise I have in store for the audience.
During this, Atlee also talked about his experience of working with Shahrukh in ‘Jawaan’. Attlee said, ‘He was great to work with, he is a very fun guy. He is very punctual in his work and also knows very well how a film should be made. Shahrukh is the Bible of cinema for me.
Regarding working with Shahrukh in future, Atlee said, ‘There is absolutely no denial in it. We will work together, but when and how we will do it is all in the hands of Shahrukh sir. Atlee is currently working on ‘VD 18’ with Varun Dhawan.
Atlee is making this film in collaboration with Murad Khetani. It is noteworthy that this is Varun’s first film with Atlee. Keerthy Suresh is making her Bollywood debut with this film, while Vamika Gabbi is also playing an important role in the film.
