Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan has broken the record of Aamir Khan’s movie Dangal in terms of earning in Bollywood films. According to the Box Office India report, Pathan has collected 386.50 crores in just 11 days while Dangal earned 374.43 crores at the domestic box office.
Bahubali-2 and KGF-2 are now the only two films ahead of Pathan in the highest-grossing films in the overall Hindi version. The collection of Hindi versions of both is Rs 435.33 crore and Rs 510.99 crore. If the figures of Tamil and Telugu are added, Pathan’s total earnings have crossed 400 crores at present. At the same time, the worldwide collection has reached 729 crores.
Dangal had the highest worldwide collection of 2,024 crores among films originally made in Hindi language. At number two was Salman Khan’s film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which collected 969.06 crores worldwide. Aamir Khan’s film Secret Superstar earned 966.86 crores, while his another film PK earned 854 crores. Now Pathan’s entry has been made in this list with 729 crores.
Pathan is the fastest film to earn Rs 300 crore in Bollywood. In the opening week itself, the film has made a record by earning 318.50 crores. Earlier, the Hindi version of KGF-2 had earned the highest collection of 268.63 crores in the first week. At the same time, Bahubali-2 film was at number two with a gross of 247 crores.
Pathan had a bumper opening of 55 crores on the very first day of its release. Earlier this record was in the name of KGF 2, whose Hindi version earned 53.95 crores on the first day. The Hollywood film Avengers Endgame collected 53.35 crores at the Indian box office on the first day of its release. Pathan has demolished all these records with the release.
Pathan continues its blockbuster run in theatres. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has so far earned Rs 378.15 crore at the domestic box office. On the other hand, talking about the worldwide collection, the film has so far collected more than 725 crores. Amidst the tremendous success of the film, Shah Rukh Khan did an ASK SRK session on Twitter. During this, a fan asked Shahrukh about the real collection of Pathan, in response Shahrukh said that Pathan has got the love of crores of people, that is enough.
Famous Brazilian author and songwriter Paulo Coelho has praised Shahrukh Khan fiercely. Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan is earning blockbuster at the box office these days. The total collection of the film has reached close to 350 crores. Now recently the film’s writer Sridhar Raghavan has indicated that Salman and Shahrukh can be seen together again in the coming times. He has hinted in various ways that Pathan and Tiger can be brought together in future. It will mainly be a crossover, which will bring a different experience for the audience.
