Many Bollywood celebs hoisted the tricolor and sang the national anthem on the occasion of 77th Independence Day on Tuesday. These include the names of Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Sara Ali Khan, Pooja Hegde and Vicky Kaushal- Katrina Kaif.
Shahrukh Khan has hoisted the tricolor at his Mumbai bungalow Mannat. A video of this has surfaced on social media. In the video, along with King Khan, his younger son Abram and wife Gauri Khan are also seen. During this, all are seen in white outfits.
Shilpa Shetty celebrated independence by hoisting the tricolor at her home. A video of this has been shared by the actress on her social media account, in which she is seen with her mother and son Viaan. After the flag hoisting ceremony, the entire family also sang Jana Gana Mana and raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. Posting the video, Shilpa wrote in the caption, ‘Vande Mataram.’
