Shahrukh Khan celebrated the success of the film ‘Dunki’ with fans at Raj Studios in Mumbai on Monday. During this special fan event, Shahrukh said that when his films were not performing well in the recent past, he had become self-doubt.
Shahrukh said at the event, ‘I have been working for the last 33 years. Normally you feel nervous many times. On every release you feel that this film will do well. Before these three films, some of my films did not do well. I started thinking that I am not the one making good films.
Shahrukh further said, ‘Now that you people have given so much love to Pathan, Jawan and Dunki, I felt that I should not go away for four years. Only two-three months is fine. I am thankful to my audience that they made me feel that what I did was right and I should keep doing the same.
A video of Shahrukh has also surfaced from the same event in which he was seen hugging one of his crying fans. Many fans became emotional while posing for photos with SRK at the event. Shahrukh was seen wearing a black T-shirt in a dapper look at the event. He paired it with a black leather jacket.
‘Dunki’ was Shahrukh’s third film released last year. Before this, he had given superhit films like Pathan in January 2023 and Jawan in September 2023. In 2023, these three films of Shahrukh did a business of Rs 2 thousand 600 crore globally.
On the work front, Shahrukh has not yet announced his next film but he is in discussion with many filmmakers. He can be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s next film ‘The King’ in which his daughter Suhana Khan will make her big screen debut.
