Bollywood Actor Shahid Kapoor is in the news these days for his film ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. Kriti Sanon is in the lead role with Shahid Kapoor in the film. The film was released in theaters on 9 February. However, the film is receiving mixed responses. Recently Shahid was seen in Neha Dhupia’s talk show ‘No Filter Neha’. Shahid arrived as the first guest of the sixth season of the show, where he talked about his films and personal life.
In the show, Shahid also talked about his superhit film ‘Kabir Singh’ released in the year 2019. Kiara Advani played the lead role with Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this film was a huge hit at the box office. However, there was also criticism regarding the film. Shahid broke his silence after four years regarding the response from the audience and said that he respects everyone’s different opinions regarding the film.
Shahid further said, ‘I did not come here to convince you to like any character. I have come here to play the character. Cinema should be such that it honestly reflects the society. My job was to play the character. The rest is for the audience to decide what they think about it. If there is something not acceptable in it then we should talk about it, but no one can say that you cannot make anything in the name of cinema. This doesn’t make any sense’.
