Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza starrer Marathi film Ved is creating new earning records everyday. Despite being a regional film, its collection is better than many Bollywood films. The film has made an impressive collection of 33.42 crores in 10 days of its release. The most surprising thing is that it did not collect as much on the first day of its release as it did on the 10th day.
The film has surprised everyone by collecting 5.70 crores this Sunday, while it had earned 2.25 crores on the first day. Riteish Deshmukh is very happy with the performance of his film. He says it is like a dream for him.
Sharing the collection of the film, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote- ‘Marathi film Ved continues to perform brilliantly on the second weekend as well. The collection of the film is excellent on Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 – Friday 2.52 cr, Sat 4.53 cr, Sunday 5.70 cr. Total – 33.42 crores. ”Ved” is not Ritesh’s first Marathi film which has earned handsomely. Earlier in 2014, his film Layabhaari also earned tremendously.
