The film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, released in the year 2013, was a tremendous hit. Ayan Mukherjee has directed this film which did a box office collection of Rs 320 crores. Now the film’s lead actor Ranbir Kapoor has given a hint of its sequel during an interview. Ranbir has told that director and writer Ayan Mukherjee has a great story for its sequel, although he was busy with the film Brahmastra in the meantime.
Ranbir Kapoor recently increased the excitement of his fans during a virtual chat session. Ranbir has told that he also has a good storyline for the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 2, in which how is the life of Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), Naina (Deepika Padukone), Avi (Aditya) and Aditi (Kalki) after 10 years, This will be shown. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ended with Naina and Bunny’s patch up, where he decides to leave his job and stay in India with Naina.
Ranbir said, I think Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani will make a good sequel. I remember Ayaan had a good story, but then he got busy with Brahmastra. But it is not that this film will never come. Maybe they will make the sequel of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani after 2 years. I think the story will be 10 years ahead what Naina, Bunny, Avi and Aditi are doing now. I think it will be very interesting and cool to explore these characters.
A few years ago, in an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Ranbir Kapoor had talked about a sequel to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani earlier as well. Ranbir had said that director Ayan Mukerji can bring Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 2 between Brahmastra Part 1 and Brahmastra Part 2. He had said that Ayan is currently busy with Brahmastra, but he always talks to me about Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 2. May be we will bring it between Brahmastra Part 1-2.
