Read Time:1 Minute, 26 Second

RRR’s song ‘Natu-Natu’ received the Oscar Award in the Best Original Song category at the 95th Oscar Ceremony held in Los Angeles. But, Ram Charan and Junior NTR did not perform dance on this song during the ceremony.

At that time it was claimed that both the actors were not comfortable dancing at the Oscar ceremony. But, recently Ram Charan while talking to the media told that he was ready to perform at Oscars but he was not allowed to dance.

American dancer Billy Mustafa and Canadian Jason Glover performed on this song instead of Ram Charan and Junior NTR. When Ram Charan was asked why he did not dance on the song ‘Naatu-Naatu’ at the Oscar ceremony, he said – I was waiting for the call to come.

Ram Charan told – I am telling the truth. I was 100% ready to perform. I was also waiting for the call but I don’t know what happened? I never got the call. But, there is no point in talking about it now.

Singers Rahul Sipliganj and Kaal Bhairav sang the song ‘Naatu-Naatu’ during the live performance during the Oscar ceremony. Whereas Deepika Padukone presented the performance. There was also controversy when American dancer Billy Mustafa and Canadian dancer Jason Glover performed on ‘Natu-Natu’ in the ceremony.

On social media, people had said about replacing the South Indian dancer with a foreign dancer that colonial thoughts have not yet gone from your mind. The dancer whom you have given a chance to perform also reflects your thinking.

Apart from this, the performance of these dancers is completely opposite to the plot of the film RRR. The South Asian community living in America had also protested against it.
