Recently a good news has come out for the fans of Prabhas. South film maker Vishnu Manchu has made a big announcement related to the actor on Sunday. He has confirmed that Prabhas will be a part of his film Kannappa. Since this announcement by Vishnu Manchu, it is being said that Prabhas will play the role of Lord Shiva in this film. However, till now no update has been given by the makers regarding Prabhas’s character.
Actually, South trade expert Ramesh Bala had shared a post on his social media handle. He wrote- According to sources, superstar Prabhas will be a part of Kannappa: The True Epic Indian Tale. This is the dream project of filmmaker Vishnu Manchu. This collaboration of both is going to be quite interesting. Commenting on this post of Ramesh, Vishnu wrote – ‘Har Har Mahadev.’ Since this comment of the filmmaker, fans have been speculating that Prabhas will play the role of Lord Shiva in this film.
Let us tell you that this film will be directed by director Mukesh Singh. Apart from Prabhas, Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon will also be seen in the lead role in the film. The actress will make her acting debut through this film. According to media reports, Kannappa will be shot in New Zealand, where a special set has been prepared for the film.
If media reports are to be believed, the shooting of the film will start soon. Recently, the makers had organized a puja ceremony for the film. Earlier, Prabhas had played the role of Lord Ram in Adipurush, although people did not like this character. Apart from this, Prabhas had to face trolling due to the film.

Earlier this film was scheduled to release in September, however now its release date has been extended. According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, now Salaar will be released in November. However, till now no update has come from the makers regarding the new release date.
Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will soon be seen in ‘Kalki 2898’. Apart from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan will be seen in lead roles in this film.
