The trailer of Nushrat Bharucha starrer film Akeli has been released. The film depicts the story of an Indian girl trapped in Iraq amidst the war. This girl gets trapped in the civil war going on in Iraq in 2014 and tries every possible way to save her life from there. Israeli actors Tshahi Halevi and Amir Botros will be seen in the lead roles along with Nusrat in the film.

Israeli actors Tshahi Helvi and Amir Botros appeared in the web series Fauda. Both the actors are going to make their Hindi debut with this film. The director of the film is Pranay Meshram. The film will be released in theaters on 18 August. This will be an action thriller film.
Nusrat reaches Iraq for a job from a small town in Punjab
In the beginning of the trailer, masked people are seen with guns in their hands in Iraq. After this Nusrat’s backstory is shown how she reaches Iraq. Nusrat is a small town girl from Punjab who gets a job in Mosul, Iraq. But, meanwhile, a war breaks out between ISIS and Iraq and people associated with ISIS make their office people hostage.
The film’s director Pranay Meshram has previously worked as an assistant director on films like Queen and Commando 3. The film is jointly produced by Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya and Aparna Padgaonkar.
