Karthik’s film also has a connection with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Actually, Sushant Singh was to work in the biopic of Army Veteran and Sportsperson Murlikant Petkar. This film was offered to Sushant Singh about 7 years ago.
Sushant Singh Rajput spent a lot of time preparing for the film ‘Pani’ in those days, but it was a project that was never completed. In those days Sushant had said, “Yes, I spent a lot of time preparing Pani. But I don’t regret it. During that time I could not sign any new film. But going forward, I am working on four new projects, including Dinesh Vijayan’s Raabta, Homi Adajania’s Takdum and India’s first space film Chanda Mama Door Ke.
Sushant said that he liked Petkar’s story very much. He had said, āWhen I heard his story, I got emotional. I wanted to do it without thinking twice. What an inspiring story!
