Read Time:1 Minute, 27 Second

These days there is a clash between South and Bollywood films at the box office. In this clash, the dominance of South films is being seen. On one hand, superstar Dalpati Vijay’s film ‘Leo’ had collected Rs 264.25 crore in its first week. On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tejas’, which was released on Friday, has failed in just four days and the condition of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film ’12th Fail’ is also very bad. However, now the pace of ‘Leo’ and ‘Tiger Nageshwar Rao’ has also been slowed down.

Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tejas’ was one of the most awaited films of this year. Kangana as well as people had high expectations from this film based on the background of the Indian Air Force, but ‘Tejas’ has failed to live up to them. The film has performed poorly from day one, as a result of which Kangana herself appealed to the audience to go watch ‘Tejas’ in theatres. However, this also had no effect and the film’s collection reached lakhs in just four days. Failing miserably in the Monday test, ‘Tejas’ collected only Rs 50 lakh, after which its total business has become Rs 4.25 crore.

The film ’12th Fail’, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, received excellent reviews from critics and big stars. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who is returning as a director from the film after three years, has shown his brilliant artistry. But still this Vikrant Massey starrer film is progressing slowly at the box office. After the surge over the weekend, the film’s collection once again fell on Monday. ’12th Fail’ did a business of Rs 1.20 crore on the fourth day. Talking about the total collection of the film, it has reached Rs 7.84 crore.
